David died May 4, 2001, at his home in Sandy, Utah after a short and very heroic battle with renal cell cancer.
He was born in Belleville, KS to Eloise and Marion Jones March 7, 1951. After graduating from Olympus High in 1969, he attended the University of Utah where he earned a degree in business.
Dave was the Owner/Operator of Sandy Tire and Service (Good Year Tire) in Sandy, UT for 15 years where he made many friends along with fishing and hunting buddies.
David was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved watching NASCAR racing and driving race cars at Bonneville and other drag strip race car parks. He loved riding his ATV in the mountains and enjoyed boating.
Survived by his sister, Lynette "Lynn" Pearse; a niece, Michelle Pearse; and "special" friend, Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
