Jon, younger son of legendary skier, Alf Engen, excelled in skisport and was a national gelande ski jumping champion in the late 1960s/early 70s.  Jon was a kind and gentle man who had a great love for animals. He was especially gifted as a speaker and was a charter member of the Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation.
