She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and many other kinds of crafts. She played the cello in orchestras and in small groups. The highlight of her musical experiences was singing with the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus, during which she was always appreciative of the opportunity to perform in the Tabernacle on Temple Square.
